Hotelogix extends its \'Switch To Cloud\' awareness campaign to the UK
Cloud-based, hospitality technology solution Hotelogix this month commences an awareness campaign aimed at UK hoteliers, to promote its ‘Switch to Cloud’ program.
The program assists in the switch-over for hoteliers across the globe using legacy management systems, to the use of cloud-based solutions, in order to streamline their businesses.

Hotelogix, as a part of its business mission, aims to empower small- to medium-sized UK hotels, which previously may not have been able to afford such 360 degree technology. Hotelogix is promoting a series of free industry webinars in the coming weeks and calling all UK hoteliers to sample a 15-day free trial to experience cloud technology.

With the awareness campaign, Hotelogix aims to demonstrate the greater functionality and a higher level of integrations available for distribution of inventory, which a cloud-based solution can bring small- to medium-sized properties – previously experienced namely by five-star chains and global hotel groups.

And Hotelogix aims to leverage the immediate benefits and strategic advantages of a cloud-based hospitality solution. One benefit is the seamless management of hotels, resorts, serviced apartments or multi-location hotel chains, by providing a single window to manage all hotel operations and bookings (online & offline). Other cloud-based advantages include integrations with travel agent networks and external booking sites, which can provide small- to medium-sized hotels a wider inventory distribution on online travel portals like booking.com and Expedia amongst others, along with real-time integration with partner sites, group booking websites, and other central reservation systems, of which legacy systems are incapable. Offline legacy systems lack the ability to inter-operate with online travel portals and online booking engines.

The program will also work to promote the two-way seamless communication that cloud-based systems provide between booking channels, integrating social media distribution and mobile bookings. The program will aim to prove how fully automated cloud-based business software, can allow hoteliers to focus their time and energy towards creating a quality experience for guests, rather than spent manually processing data. Such solutions were earlier only available and used by larger hotels but in recent times a large number of hospitality businesses with less than 50 rooms are switching to a single systems that provide end-to-end automation solutions. These solutions enable small hotels to compete aggressively in the global marketplace at an extremely affordable price.

To encourage the usage of Hotelogix’ cloud based hospitality solutions by hotels, Hotelogix will also be assisting hotels, by closely guiding them through the entire migration process.
