The 67 Airport Hotel, a 64-room property in Nairobi, has selected Hotelogix’s cloud-based property management software
to handle all their operations. The property was looking to adopt a modern system that could help the hotel better optimize its resources and enhance its distribution capability.
Located six kilometers from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, 67 Airport Hotel
lies at the border of the Nairobi and Machakos counties. With premium amenities and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Syokimau plains and the Nairobi National Park, the property also features a gourmet African-themed restaurant. The hotel is equipped for business meetings, with a state-of-the-art conference and banquet hall.
David Kibanya, the General Manager, heard about Hotelogix from – the West Breeze Hotel (also utilizing Hotelogix’s services). After hearing rave reviews about the product’s capabilities from Sally Karuiki, the Director of West Breeze, Mr Kibanya was convinced enough to try Hotelogix and saw significant advantages compared to other systems.

Having previously depended on a legacy on-premise system to manage operations, the hotel was unable to optimize its inventory due to the absence of an integrated channel manager. “Without real-time channel manager integration, efficient inventory management on different channels was challenging. Hotelogix provided us with two-way connectivity to OTAs that enabled instantaneous updating of rooms with every reservation – this is exactly what we needed,” said Mr Kibanya.
