Located barely a few miles away from Dover, the 69 room Carlton hotel is an attractive property ideal for business as well as leisure travelers. New owner Sarath Wickrama intended to get the hotel up-to-speed with modern technology and was unimpressed by the hotel’s outdated ‘18th century’ management methods. Check-ins, reservations, cancellations, all had to be organized by hand, which led to multiple errors.
